Art, Design, Media Creative Learning and Teaching
5th Learning and Teaching Day
Ravensbourne, Greenwich Peninsula, 6 Penrose Way, London, SE10 0EW
29 November 2011

Registration is now open

ADM-HEA is very pleased to announce initial details of its 5th Art, Design and Media Creative Learning and Teaching Day. This year’s event is hosted by Ravensbourne and we shall be organising the event in collaboration with the new Higher Education Academy Discipline Leads, Carolyn Bew and John Mundy.

The day is designed for colleagues who are directly involved in learning and teaching in art, design and media: if you work in academic development, learning co-ordination or student support within art, design or media higher education this day is for you.

Presentations and workshops will provide opportunities to hear about current research, developments and innovations in art, design and media teaching and learning. Importantly, the event is a chance for colleagues to get together informally, share views, discuss opportunities and create future collaborative ventures.

We are delighted that Aaron Porter and Professor Bruce Brown are confirmed as Keynote speakers.

The final programme will be available shortly and will include presentations from ADM and National Teaching Fellows plus a workshop by Will Pearson, Director of Technology at Ravensbourne and currently Artist In Residence at SMARTlab. An important aspect of this year’s event will be student involvement and engagement.
